Prompt #4: Dreams — Words of Wisdom | Project: Love, Me

Prompt #4: Dreams — Words of Wisdom

Written on January 19, 2011 by SuzyQ in Weekly Prompts

We’ve come full circle this month in looking at dreams — dreams now, dreams past, dreams unrealized … and now it’s time for the future, words of wisdom to pass on to generations to come.

Prompt #4: What dreams do you have for you loved ones? Do you have a message you’d want to share with them about pursuing dreams, re-visiting dreams or letting dreams go? What have you learned in your life about the role dreams can play in your life?

Picks of the Week — They picked me!!!

I can’t believe they picked mine!!!  I am so excited!

Picks of the Week — Prompt #3 (Dreams- The Flip Side)
Written on January 18, 2011 by Kami in Picks of the Week
Wow Guys!  Just- W.O.W!  I was blown away this week by your submissions.  I was touched by all of them and sat here for a very long time trying to figure out how I would pick just one as my favorite.  Thank you all for sharing your stories with us and showing your vulnerable sides.  Being the first “Flip Side” prompt in this journey, I know it was hard to re-visit some of these broken dreams and I really want you to know how much we appreciate it.  And how much future generations will appreciate it.  I think these layouts will help others relate to us and see us for who we are- real people with real emotions.
All of the layouts touched me, but one in particular really stayed with me- not only because of her story, which was so beautifully written, but also because of a message she included on the bottom “sometimes on the way to our dreams, we get lost and find a better one”.  I really love that.  So my pick of the week is Kim:

Prompt #3: Dreams- The Flip Side | Project: Love, Me

Prompt #3: Dreams- The Flip SideWritten on January 12, 2011 by Kami in Weekly PromptsWelcome to Week Three of Project: Love, Me!So far we’ve covered our current dreams and dreams from our past.  This week, we want to focus on dreams that were lost along the way.  For better or worse, not every dream becomes a reality but sometimes the loss of a dream contributes to the person that we are today.  This weeks prompt is:Dreams UnrealizedScrap a layout about a dream that for one reason or another will never come true. What was your dream and why have you given it up?  How do you feel about that?  What have you learned through the process of not realizing this dream?

Prompt #2: Dreams — Flashback | Project: Love, Me

Prompt #2: Dreams — Flashback

Written on January 5, 2011 by SuzyQ in Weekly Prompts

Are you ready for week 2? Let’s flashback to the past!

What were your dreams when you were younger? What did you used to dream about — whether it came true or not? What was important to you when you were growing up? Where did you think your life would take you?

Focus on one specific dream, or share several. Pick a specific time period — childhood, teenager, young adult, etc. — or share a dream from each.
